Wolf fish ID sticky prep thread, how you can help!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok guys, I've had a lot of people ask me who is going to author this article. After some consideration, I've decided that it can be any of you who wish to do it.

Here's how it will work. At the bottom of this post, I'm going to post a template. Simply take this template, code and all (it would be best to quote this post and then remove everything that I've typed and the [qu-ote] tags. Then, just fill in the stuff for the species profile.

Here's the template:

Genus species
Author/Co-Authors- lix.ma14, Payarakeeper(you won't add this, I will add this when the actual guide is posted!)

Editor- Chicxulub (you won't add this, I will add this when the actual guide is posted!)

General Info
An interesting, encyclopedic blurb about the species, to include their availability in the hobby, temperament and interesting facts

Distribution
Example: South America: Magdalena River basin and Santiago River basin in Ecuador.

Diagnostic Traits for Hobbyists
-Use hyphens
-As bullets
-To make your points
-This should describe
-What a hobbyist
-Should look for to
-Get an easy ID of the fish

Academic Diagnostic Traits
Use the Key to Species found in academic papers

Size
Mention the normal size of an adult fish, the normal size of an aquarium kept fish and the world record size if available.
