Nice pick up bro, 1" a month plus or minus and I think they max out around 16" in aquariums....Mala's aren't very active they lay around and hide a lot so don't expect too much interaction.

Iv just read a couple people had there's get to about 20 inches. Online it says they grow bigger in aquariums? Not sure. He's a solid 12 inches might even be closer to 14. Most likely going to have to rehome my Midas/rose queen. She's keeping him at his side of the tank.

Haha I know I know. It's the only gravel I have left. I'll invest in some natural color gravel eventually it'll just be a scary process changing it with this beast in there
