Tried my own research and looked through the threads and it's still no simple task for me to id since I have no previous wolf fish experience or live references to look at side by side but was wondering if anyone could possibly help me I'd this guy. Don't mind the setup he is currently chilling in the sump right now lol and he has about 7 pores on each side under his jaw if that means anything

Thanks guys kinda tough to get photos of him since he likes to chill in the back but here's my shots, originally I got 2 of these from rapps at only a couple inches a little over a year ago back when he was still in business, as aimaras but as they developed they seemed to look less and less aimara and more like lacs that's why I needed a confirmation lol good score imo lol

my lac is from the same batch from rapps! how big is yours at the moment?

Measured him a couple months back and he was about 13 and a half inches so I would imagine he is pushing 14 now. I weaned him off of frozen at the begging of the year and onto massivore which I honestly should've done sooner cause he took to it within a week so hopefully he packs on some good size this year. How about yours

indeed rapps did bring in a batch of red tapajos aimaras, ironically we haven’t gotten a true tapajos aimara in the states, that was established here on MFK to be lacs back when first pictures were posted. It’s pretty obvious even at small sizes they were lacs.
