fully grown giant snakehead would take any wolfish in a fight. pound for pound snakeheads are one of the scariest fish. if u ignore the fact that they have killer teeth, one swipe of their tails have been known to break fishermen's legs in malaysia. some of the men in Tasik Kenyir (a dam in malaysia) say that they have seen giant snakehead reaching 7 to 10 feet in the wild! apprently able to capsize small boats. scary thought huh...

Not really malaysians are tiny weak people so no surprise they might break one. :) Just kidding.

Aimara, and I have seen a few, are pretty active and crazy agressive, given home court advantage any snakehead will lose. vice versa the aimara would probable lose. truth is if you put one of the meanest from each camp in a tank seperated by egg crate and watch. Eventually, one of them will break through and try beating up the other. the one breaking through will be the nastiest. Having seen both up close and personal I would say an aimara just has more attitude and a snakehead has a little less but is more maneuverable.

My vote goes to a Mako.

OK FIRST both fish are bada$$, 2nd i would pic the wolf fish because they are mean all the time were as the snakehead is very aggressive when mating. But in most cases who ever got the first bite would win

Well I would vote for aimara as the winner even if it is bitten by SH.
Well reason is wolf fish recover rate is very fast, SH is consider a very hardy fish...
I seen a bodyless SH in the market which the mouth still moving atleast for half hour.
But why I vote for aimara is that they are really super aggressive but depending on which river it is from. I ever put a 20" silver aro with my 15" aimara. It just keep on attacking it till it is tired the 1st strike from it was a 3 hit combo... After 3 days together both is seriously injured but still the wolf fish is very aggressive... End up the aro float on top or it... But the most interesting part of it is when I go near the tank it charge to the glass tank and want to attack me..later I took out the aro... And aimara took less than a week to fully recover.

Just sick. When you look at a SH you see a cool badass fish but when oyu look at a wolf fish you just know that that fish can cause some serious damage to anything it wants to

i really fail to see why anyone would be even interested in who would win. what does it really matter . if you wish to keep a fish just because its the hardest fish out there you are keeping it for all the wrong reasons. and will allways be disapointed.

cheers col
Yeah who gives a s$%t !!! I like fish for their rareity. Also don't care if it is a tough guy or a wuss.
