i never seen a huge one in a tank

In the pics shown...the SH seemed to be missing its tail already...bitten off by the wolf guy!?!

I wanted to keep one as well but after hearing how it can rip off the tummy of asian aros...i changed my mind...

:shakehead

I was thinking of getting one to put in a small aquaria in my room (dream dream)

Red wolffish (Erythrinus erythrinus) average 6", but they can reach 8"...

The wolf fish and the snakehead had gotten along fine for a couple months, when the owner walked in one day and saw that...

Damn..there is no way I am letting any wolf dude bitin off tails of my other collections man...

Wolf fish are tough if you get a scrappier its trouble.
My 13" wolf worked over my 26" cobra. I put the divider
in but that night the cobra jumped over got into a nasty
pit fight and jumped out of my tank.

I thought I heard something around 2: am in the morning.
Anyways I wake up around 9:am go down to check the fish
and Cobra is behind my tank wedged and dry. I get him out
and in the sink and I see a slight movement. I put cobra
back in the tank and he came back to life. I'm glad I was off
work yesterday to save him.

Yeah micropeltes are nasty I had some bigg'uns.
If that micro wasn't a juvi, both fish would be shredded.

your 13" wolf wrecked your 26" cobra? i just don't see how that can possibly happen... the wolf can fit in the cobra's mouth for chrissake...

I believe that story... Wolfs are unbelieveable as to the damage they can wreak... Red wolfs, while small can be kept in a 20 long or a 30g... As they get bigger, increase tank size...
