never had one but heard they are very aggressive, but then again i haveheard of people keeping them with other fish

well i heard they wont eat anything that wont fit in thier mouth that dont mean they wont fight but hesss gott soommmee teeeeetttthhh

Assuming you mean the Dovii then yea a lot of people have experience with them..

They are aggressive.. and in the case of mine they will kill just for the kill, no interest in live food.

Do you mean the wolf cichlid, Parachromis dovii? Or the wolf fish, Hoplias malabaricus? You are in the cichlid section, so you probably mean the dovii.

Dovii get big and mean.

My dovii never fought, it just straight on killed. They are crazy aggressive.

My dovii killed-off all it's tankmates when it was very young. I have not tried to put anything with him since. He is like a puppy dog towards me though.

if your talking about Hoplias malabaricus they are great fish to have, if you like fish that just lay on the bottom all day. i believe the will grow about 18-24 inches, mouth full of razor sharp teeth and are able to eat anything that fits into there mouth and up to 2/3 of its body size.

dovii's are like severly aggressive.
they attack water dripping off lids ahhaha.
and you can annoy them pretty easily aswell.
they don't usually kill in one bite, they like
play with the fish until it like finds a spot to chill
where the dovii won't bother it and then may eventually
be killled by the dovii.
i like dovii's though, a friend of mine likes his dovii more then he likes most people
which is believable since he raised his 16" dovii since he was about an inch!!
