lol thanks dakota.
when i put him down today he was actually pushinh 22" on a tape measure.
but he had clamped fins so it was hard to determine.
they are the best fish ever though.
a dovii would whoop a wolf fishes ass any day.
 
like said both wolfs are usually very aggressive

a wolf cichlid would most like pick a fight with a wolf fish and would lose for sure wolf cichlids do have teeth and strong jaws but nothin commpared to a wolf fish a wolf cichlid could kill a wolf fish but a wolf fish would kill a cichlid much faster plus it would most likely happen at night if so the cichlid wouldn't stand a chance
 
my red devil killed a wolf fish bigger than it..... they are overrated.
now a snakehead is a different story.
 
There are always exceptions.. but I own both Dovii and a Wolf fish and I would never keep my wolf fish with my Dovii for fear of losing my Dovii.
 
its certainly not worth risking a fish over, and it would take any cichlid a long time to kill a wolf fish could kill any cichlid in the blink of an eye
