Use the search bar. There is a ton of info on wolves on this sight. Also try google. It helps if you use the latin name though so you can be more specific. Since there a few species.

That's one of the things I needed to know I'm gonna go with my 55 gallon for a while then get a 90 -100gallon

Well you could grow out hoplias Malabaricus in that. But it will outgrow it. Your best bet is the rainbow wolffish. It can live in a 55 for life but wolves are notoriously fickle about tankmates. So for size and temperament its probably your best bet. Plus they are most active. Wolves are only interesting during feeding other than that they don't move.
That's the kind I was actually looking at and thinking about getting it will be fine in A 55 for life though by itself ?
