I assume you're talking about hoplias malabaricus. If so, I've had Satan for two years in a 125 gallon and he's about 12.5-13". Some websites say they can grow up to 2' in the wild and even larger in aquariums. I'm not sure I agree. Maybe the aimara but I don't think the malabaricus would. Satan is my first wolf fish so I don't have a lot if experience. Hope this helps.

OK thanks He's 5" now so your saying 2years before he hits 1foot
 
it's get 1 foot less than a year :) if your wolf at 5" now with good water and diet it will hit 1 foot probably in 8 months or less.
 
Cool thanks for the in for trying to get him off of feeder fish how can I do that in what's a gud water change 50 % week or 25% a week
Starve it for few day and throw prepare food at him (meaty) and it will hit it like crazy, wolf not hard to train or get it off live.
Depend on your tank stock 50% weekly should be good or 2 times a week would be best.

Jus him in there by him self so I will start a weekly warter change two times a week thanks
