are wolf fish banned in US if not, how about in CA. im going to pick one up tomorrow for $70. it about 3" and say it well develop a blue tint color on its body.

If you mean wolf cichlid, I think they are perfectly legal in the US. But don't take my word man. Somebody else will come who knows more.

no, i dont know its siencetific name, but it has teeth showing in its mouth. its brown, rounded tail fin, long dorsal fin, and perfers to be a the bottom of the tank.

Like DiXon said they may not be illegal in the US but some of the states probably won't be legal.

the thing about that is that as long as you dont say anything then no one will know, so they cant take it away from you...
