Looking for a smaller (cheaper) lacerdae or aimara for sale to stock my new tank. I know the smaller aimara are hard to id but does anyone maybe have a breeding pair. I would be intrested in either wolf.

Smaller aimara will be hard to find and expensive. I don't think they're captive bred yet. But bump for you..

If you find a "cheaper" aimara let me know!

BTW Shark Aquarium has lacerdae listed for $250. I PMed George over at piranha-fury for pics never got them...

I saw him in person very impressive. Thanks zoo i think i'm gonna take a trip over tomorrow afternoon.

Just made the trip to shark aquarium only one lacerdae about 7 or 8 inches. Guess where he is now. In my 125 while i wait for my 300 to arrive tomorrow morning. $150 WOW i thought that was a great price. Hope its a true lacerdae. By the way i would still be intrested in an aimara.:D

all i can say to you is good luck, very hard to find and very pricey. unless your willing to shell out 2-3k for an adult your gonna have some serious trouble. good luck though.
