thanks for the info, I noticed the yellow color on the tails and upper fins, he is currently very active, swims all over the tank, but has not eaten any food just yet, I wonder if I have to provide a hiding spot for him..
The tank is 40g, painted all black and bare bottom, no tankmate, and just him alone.

provide hiding places and put in a couple of plants in vases. that should help him establish himself.

Then give him time. The little monster will adapt.

Make sure you weigh down the lid too. When I first got mine he was jumping like crazy, and they jump with a lot of force.

very easy wolf to id. great for a 40 gallon. i would get one if they were for sale around here but my ck would kill the lil guy but her wont mess with my mala
