thanks so maybe ill start the tank with some big giant danios and a big plec and if he kills the danios no harm no foul

he should be fast enough to catch them.

btw,why are there so many people viewing the thread but none responding?

yeah not suprised. i dont know its kinda wierd lol. hmm maybe just a bigass plec then

I'm responding...

But yea that tank would do fine for a long time. I keep my mala in a 50 breeder which is 48x18x13, not as active as a gold wolf but as slow as the golds grow I wouldn't think twice about it.

like Channarox said the golds are pretty slow growing but awesome fish. they do best in groups of 3 or more. after i lost one of mine the remaining two didn't get along at all. the bigger of the two constantly chased and harrassed the smaller one. when i had three there was harmony and they swam together all the time. if you're gonna get just one you should be fine. they are pretty responsive after awhile. they'd come to the glass when i came near the tank. i kept a red in with them and they left him alone for the most part. the red is active but nothing like the golds. they rarely ever rest on the bottom.

you think you could do 2 reds?
