alright thanks and here is the link, you have to fast forward to about 14-15 minutes in, they slow it down 600% and its like a normal strike, its crazy. O ya dont blink!

alright can you guys give me some good vendors or somewhere i can get a red wolf and what a good price is if i come across one. Is $30 a good price? Because Fish Room Plus has some 3" for $30. O ya if i put him in the 67g, is there any possible tank mates, or is that a no go?
gotta say, getting a mala is one of the best decisions i made. Such a character. Every feeding session is entertainment and it's so tame! By tame, i mean it shows 0 fear and cleaning is a real frightening moment. Anyone who says a 75 will sort a mala for life is out of their head. My chap is in a 75 but is only 11" I have FULL intention to give him a 100/120 by the time he's 15".
Anyone who things dithers or bigger fish are even worth a go are dreaming. From my experience anyway. I would love to try an Ery but i think i'm gunna try a gold wolf in a tank with others. Active and moderatly sociable. Eventually anyway. First, my current chaps need to grow a bit AND i have to fit an engine (loooong story).

A mala who has always been on its own in the tank since it was small is not likely to accept tankmates. Its best to start socializing them when they are younger. It may look like it will accept them and then the next morning you will have one fat happy wolf fish, even if the other fish is larger not many aquarium fish have the tools to fight back against an angry or hungry wolf. And when you turn the lights off for the night...say goodbye to the other fish. I agree a large mala is gonna need more than a 75g, that will work for a while, but it will only be temporary.

You're right each individual fish has its own personality, as we do. Some wolves can be rather timid and become dominated by fish that they could easily kill, some will be mellow but if provoked wreak havoc on the fish pestering it, or some are just plain MEAN...LOL. They will not only kill b/c being hungry, they just dont want to share the tank at all. The main things I have seen from wolves are like you mentioned....they are UNPREDICTABLE...they can change at any time, and even a wolf who has lived in a comm. for a while will not back down from a fight if challenged. To the OP I would advise you get a Red wolf due to the tank that you have.
