Do any of the experts know what the lifespan of wolfish are, specifically aimara? I have read that they can be long living, over 15 years, but I do not know of any specific cases. The longest kept wolf fish I know of was FC3 that had his for 9 years and acquired it at 12 inches so I guess we can assume it was around 10 years old. Most of my time in the hobby was with piranha and while most people did not keep their piranhas long term, there are a number of folks that kept them 15+ years with me finding some folks that had specimens for more than 30 years.

I got him on pfish before I joined this site. He came from a guy in Tennessee (can’t remember his name), who got it via @lilneet imported from @amidaea / Ben ? in Japan. I believe he is one of the first here.
He was a foot long approximately and really hasn’t grown.
Still mean as hell. Have to buy new poop sucker every couple of months!!
