If you and your bf where planning on getting a house with a basement, it would be a good idea to get a structural engineer to take a look first and do the calculations. The man in pfk just insulated the inside with polystyrene and put ply, then fiberglass over it. He build a steal front structure which supported 1'' thickglass panels. All calculations need to be done by engineers, and if there is a risk of the wall collapsing outwards with the rest of the house above, then its just not worth the risk.

well luckily my mum and lodger are both engineers. and the relationships new so lol i can see it being at least a few years before we move in together let alone build the monster tank....but think about...that would lower the divorce rates...we would never divorce each other coz neither of us would want to leave the tank lol

My X refused to allow me to move my tanks in when I moved in with him, 'nore did he support/respect my time spent with my horses. I've had one of my horses since iw as 16 yrs old.. and went threw some heavy emotional trauma, which he was the main reason i survived it. He told me to get rid of the horses, and no fishtanks in "His" house.

people like her are a dime a dozen and they come in both genders. I only wasted 3 years of my life with him. I'm sorry you wasted 6 before learning.

Sorry to hear about the lose of your fish, But as others have stated. It was your responsibility and ultimately your choice. funny as it sounds. I have to disagree w/ some who say that he chose his fish over his GF... I do not see that here. misguided and confused.

Unfortunately the cost is always innocent blood.

You learn your lesson.. and you move on.

But don't point the finger at women, point the finger at a certain type of human being. And now you have learned the warning signs of the type of person you don't want to be involved with.

HAHA i got horses so does my gf. And she lets me keep fish and ride bulls. And shes right there when the meat wagon gets me.
