I'd say there's nothing better than being so in touch with each other that nothing NEEDS to be said. Comfort and peace in quiet is the hardest thing to build in a relationship.

If you can't share a room with someone without feeling the need to make meaningless conversation, it's probably not a good relationship.

My girl is excellent. At first when we started dating I had 2 tanks... Now, 4 years later, I have 5 and a pond in the basement...
She is supportive (even though I spend way too much $$$ on it), shows geniune interest in the hobby (although wasnt previously), doesnt complain (about the tanks or anything else really), and is overall super-badass.... I am very lucky!

My girl is soooo badass... she will go to the LFS when I'm at work to pick up food, fish, etc. for me!!! Will feed fish at appropriate times if I'm not around. Even knows how much of what to feed each tank!! Even offerd to clean a tank... and I'm talkin 125 gal... That's a keeper!!!!

Congrats! She must enjoy it, or you've trained each other well. It could be that she's been paying attention and knows what makes you really happy, and you've been doing the same. In the process you've enjoyed making each other happy.

my wife likes looking at my aquarium and demands it to be cleaned.she does the actual designing of the where to put the rocks and to keep the filter tubes straight.so lucky me huh.
but at first she was against buying the 240 g tank but now she's all in my business and demands that i maintain it well..
