Thanks for all the help everyone!

So this is what I have decided to do so far. First I slowly started to raise my temp to 85 degrees. Then I removed my plecos and placed them into my QT tank. "I had to sacrifice some fry in order to do so. :(" Treated my QT tank with pleco safe treatment immediately after introducing them into the QT tank.

Then I started the salt treatment as follows. Since I will need 6 cups total. 150 gallons x 2 Teaspoons = 6.25 cups. I took a 5 gallon bucket and drained aquarium water into the bucket then added 1 cup of salt to the 5 gallons. Once dissolved I dumped into the aquarium. I plan on doing this same thing 5 more times every 12 hours. Once all the salt is added I will then keep the salt in the aquarium for 10-14 days and then do a water change. And will keep the temp at 85 degrees for a additional week or so.

Seem like I'm doing everything correctly?
