Sorry guys for the late reply. I have been sick for the past week. Very ill and just got on to check. My 40 is setup and I have the ruby greens and a colony of redshoulders in there. My ruby greens are dominant and its funny to see a 1.5 inch ruby green punking 3 inch + redshoulder males. Fish are beautiful and and bred already. Have 3 females holding and going strip them. I can't wait to grow the fry out. By, the way, these fish came from oldworldexoticfish.com. However, I had mainlycichlids.com order them for me. Highly recommended and pics soon. Thanks.
The red shoulders should last, but they are always getting bullied. I have one very nice male in the peacock colony though. Right now, I have 3 male ruby greens colored up and dang, the dominant has a very dark orange and black to it. He's my favorite and he always shows off. The 2 other males are also very nice too, but not as nice as the dominant. If they were separated, they should be just as nice too. I have to wait till my sister gets back from sac with the camera though. I'll try to get many pics.
