I know different woods are used for different things, plus cost, etc, but what do most of you use for DIY stands. Just curious what types people like, do they go expenisve or something cheaper and stain it? AM in the process of making my own right now. Thanks

You can click on my link in my sig and it will give you ideals. I went with a tounge and groove style at a 45 degree angle. Just something a little different and might give you an ideal or two
