I doubt it's wild-caught, but still sad. Without fail, EVERY reptile show I got to, I see some idiot checking out baby gators. I even once saw this real trashy guy talking to a vendor that lets him buy a baby gator, grow it out for about a year, and them trade it in for another baby. That sounds more like some kind of decoration or something that you replace when it no longer "works" for you. I agree that these should be much harder for people to keep (strict permits and such).
