My little silver that's not so little any more had always had a little hole in it's anal fin, moved to a larger tank has sorted it within a week. Fin damaged can sort it's self out if the environment is right,
 
Really happy, he hasn't eaten since I got him which was this past Tue. Just saw him tonight eat 3 jumbo carnisticks! Yes!
