Word of Caution on buying fish

My closest LFS doesn't even take fish back from people, so you have to be careful. But they are super good at keeping their fish healthy and even treat diseased fish in their tanks and don't sell them till it's all clear. Alongside reasonably good prices ($24+- dollars for an 8" Oscar) it is a good trade off.

Chain stores don't seem to be all too good at healthy fish? Lucky there are none here

Yeah most chains usually have poor suppliers. I know of one locally that doesn't though, but on average they come in with disease.

When money > fish things tend to get iffy

Around here small oscars are $10-15 but after they grow up the price doesn't go up. I can get 8"-10" for $20-25 at the local store guess not many people around here have a tank big enough.
Yea these are also cool colour morphs but I am not getting 1, a 250L is too small
