Just be confident. Say your looking for work at a pet store because you are interested in the hobby. Show them what you know and show a willingness to learn what you don't. Everyone starts out somewhere. You might be stuck sweeping floors or cleaning out rabbit cages or something for a while.
The main thing is always be on time and always be there when your supposed to be. 99% of employers could give a hoot about what you do or don't know. If your the greatest fish keeper in the world but your unreliable and not there when your supposed to be. You help no one. Being on time and reliable is much more important.
