is ronaldo out because everyone thought he played like a donkey, and back home many brazilians thought it was one of there worst matches for a very very long time or because hes injured? everyone has been slating him, but in the future, everyones going to look back at him being one of the greatest strikers. not many people can say theyve done this, and he is without a doubt 100% world class: appearences and goals in brackets...

ViVA ANGOLA! I cant sleep, Im just waiting for the game today against Mexico. Like I said before, I do feel like my country can beet Mexico:thumbsup: or at least tight against them. I know I know you laughting right? but believe me if we play a little better, with better determination comparing to last game against Portugal ....... I say we have a shoot. :headbang2
And before you trying to cut my hopes short just watch the whole second half Angola vs Portugal and tell me what do you think, because I think my country did a pretty gud job.

Ps. Dont mean to disrespect no one but England got it easy there, they didnt really play as gud as they say they can. but no matter what they advance and thats gud for you Englands at least.

ficas having a laugh. not sure about the scoreline, but we definately deserved to be in front. i can't remember how many shots trinidad n tobago had, but it was only about 4-5, and one of them was an offside (there "goal" when he was miles off, although would have made a good goal). Rooney isnt match fit, he may be fit enough to play physically, but mentally hes not quite there, but good to give him a bit of a game so he can get back into it. the big difference made to the game was not rooney at all, but putting on lennon and downing. we for once had really good width to the pitch. and with beckham still coming forward with ashley cole aswell, a lot of the time it was like playing with 2 defenders (brazil-esque, like with carlos and cafu). we played mych better with that width, instead of trying the over the top ball, it only works to get owen one on one with the keeper. although crouch scored, i dont think he had the best of games. lampard should have done better to. with beckham, gerrard, lampard and rooney, i'd like to see a bit more out of the box shots (gerrards goal today). overall a deserved win for england.

did anyone watch the sweden game? wish equador had hung on. if they had, and england wins all 3, and paraguay and trinidad draw when they meet, the second team would have gone through on only 2 points!!! crazy!

Davo spot on mate i agree it wasn't Rooney who brought hope to the england side it was Aaron Lennon who brought his pace and width like you mentioned, Although i don't think Sven will make any changes next game whe we play his native home team Sweden

I think he'll sit on Lennon and Rooney as back up i mean it's not like we need to win this game no point risking injury or wearing out the players let them rest up until we really need them.
 
the argentina game should be good. im really looking forward to netherlands v ivory coast. i think angola has a chance. they were a bit unlucky with portugal, i thought they put up a good fight

Ronaldo isn't gonna play tomorrow :( is what I keep reading in the Portuguese newspapers and the online sites. But realistically, we didn't play at 60% against Angola. I just want to avoid Argentina in the second round. That would be the best case scenairo
 
ok not unlucky, dont get me wrong portugal diserved the win. maybe it was a bad choice of words, but i think they did quite well, and they did put up a bit of a fight. argentina looked absolutely class today (only watched 1st half. the second goal was one of the best team goals ive ever seen. 24+ passes and serbia got no where near the ball for a couple of mins. absolutely class
 
If I were serbian, I would go crawl into a hole after that 6-0 lose
