Had a 70 Druid and 70 PVP Alt Priest on Blackrock before I quit over a year ago now.

Had cleared SSC and most of TK by the time I quit so I was happy.Female Taurens ftw :p

Some gaming buddies and I started on release day in Nov 2004 (plus some open Beta before that). We've all since quit... nothing like 2+ years as guild/raid leading to kill some of the fun in the game.

I played a hunter and ended up being the 4th alliance hunter to complete the Rhok'delar questline on a release day server. Actually the 2nd to do it legit, the first 2 cheated. I really lucked out getting the Sinew and Leaf from our first kills of Onyxia and Domo. Switch to my mage alt for playing the expansion. Quit playing when my current guild was 6/6 and 3/4. Guess they have cleared Hyjal and are 4 or 5/9 in BT now.

Old school... crafting a Sulfuron Hammer for our guild leader (who combined it with the Eye from Ragnaros to make the legendary 2-H mace)

More oldschool... anyone remember telling raid newbies that they could see Ragnaros in the fire behind Golemagg?

And the fun for the AQ gate opening event... crashed the server untold number of times... amazingly lagged PVP after the event was over ;)

Some of us might renew for the next expansion. Dunno if I will or not. Some of the guys are playing AoC open beta, but the game looks like it needs a HELL of a lot of polishing before it's released later this month.

Yep :naughty:

I downloaded and watched all of our first boss kill videos from late vanilla WoW like the end of AQ and most of Naxx (We had cleared Abom and Spider wing before we stopped a couple of months before TBC came out, fair effort for horde), good memories.

Being one of the few good Druids on my server had it's privileges. I was constantly hounded to become a member of Nurfed, even though I was Australian, and had the pleasure of PVP'ing with many of them after they transferred to Blackrock from Dethecus which was a great experience as they were top notch players and funny bastards to go along with it. Was the second druid to hit 70 on Blackrock, top 10 I'd say to have an epic flying mount, was the first 375 Leatherworker with epic patterns to make an absolute killing with as well. Staff of Natural Fury in Week 2 of TBC, one of two on the server at that stage, also drew a few eyes, as was one of the first Talbuk on Blackrock Horde ;).

Unfortunately I have none of my own screenshots left, here's one from Lancel (Check the guys Armoury now, easily one of the best geared warriors in the game worldwide), as one of the very few Female Taurens, he was obsessed with me :p

Definitely not looking my best there, mish-mash of PVP/PVE gear when I turned Dreamstate for PVE after being feral for the first couple of months of TBC.

I loved the first couple weeks of TBC. Sooooo much gold floating around, it was mad easy to fleece slower levelers with exorbitant costs for crafting mats. Still remember grinding primal mana and fire then selling them for 50-60g a pop! Buy stacks of netherweave for 3g a stack, turn around and sell 16 slot bags for 12g... and do about 50 bags a day. I'd just login from work, hit the AH, buy cloth, craft and back up on the AH. Not to mention all the druids that were drooling over the CE exalted hammer... sold coilfang armaments for 25g for a while :)

Not to mention finding a few epic crafting patterns early... or those Ced's Carvers that seemed to drop everytime we ran SL or Mech. 450g a pop back then!

I still have a collection of some of our older videos. Love how nubly we were for our first MC and Ony kills. Or the sweating at the end of our first Nef, didn't have dorf priest, so we had to do rotations. Lost the MT at 20%, then an OT at 10... our last warrior went down at 1% and we got the bastard. Good times! We had cleared the Spider Wing in Naxx + Raz (duh) and Noth before we quit after seeing the loot at 61 in TBC :P Also kind of sucked when we xfer'd to Korgath... nothing like having Death & Taxes, Drama and to a lesser extent Dread able to poach players :(
