I caught 2 Bullheads today that would have been jr world records if I had a certified scale! Each fish was over 12 inches long and weighed from 3-4 lbs! If I didn't see the take and set the hook with the downward pull I wouldv'e though I hooked a turtle! Each one hit the bait more than once but each time I didn't set the hook hard enough. (And I set it pretty hard.) This kid who lives near Clove Lake who fishes 3 times a week saw the first one and said "Whoa!!!" So loud I hard him 40 feet away. He said he never saw one that big come up. So the title is misleading, it's not a certified record, but couldv'e been.
