I don't know if I'm reading this wrong, or if I just have way bigger fish in Wisconsin, but did this thread say that a 12 in, 4 lb bull head is bigger than average. I thought that would be at most an average fish compared to the bullhead by me.

12" Bullhead are around 1 lb if they are very fat, not 3-4 lbs, I caught a 18" Bullhead that was 3 lbs. lots of 15" bullheads that were 1.5 lbs, and very fuw that were between 16-17 inches and they were 2 lbs - 2.5 lbs.

Yes, a 4 lb Bullhead would be huge!

I don't quite understand what you are saying here, unless you are agreeing with me. Bullheads are thicker then catfish.

i believe the record bullhead was something like 8lbs, it depends on the species too.
