12" Bullhead are around 1 lb if they are very fat, not 3-4 lbs, I caught a 18" Bullhead that was 3 lbs. lots of 15" bullheads that were 1.5 lbs, and very fuw that were between 16-17 inches and they were 2 lbs - 2.5 lbs.

Yes, a 4 lb Bullhead would be huge!

3-4 pound catfish reach almost 2 foot how those that make any sense unless they were stufffed to the gill.

I think he was only implying that based on what he thought it weighted when it was in his hand, it probably was only 1lb. But the whole 12" thing being a possible record is not even close. That thing is still just a baby.

exactly a guy next to me thought he had caught a ten pound cat it turned out to five on the scale. also to weigh 3-4 at 12" would have to be a football.

i once caught a 15" bullhead.....but i never weighed it or took a pic......i was walleye fishing!
