we win did did did.

setting cars and marching together means we only love each other.we are the city of brotherly love.

I have no affiliation with either team, I am a Tigers fan, but watching last night I couldn't help but be puzzled by the homeplate ump, and his miscues. Brad Lidge got first pitch strikes on each batter that I saw, and I'm not sure any of the pithches were actually strikes, maybe one. Then add to that, the check swing by Hinske, which I thought he clearly held back. I didn't watch much of this series but what I did see, I wasn't impressed.

Cole Hamels is pretty good though...

WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

yeayea. the phillies are a very good team. i wont take that away from them, they came up with the big hits and clutch pitching. did they get some "extra help", sure. but even aside from that they just played better. the Rays youth finally came out. ALL of their hitting and pitching just died - i think the series with the red sox really took it out of them a bit. even with the all the horrid calls, when it comes down to it you still have to execute and find a way to get it done. but i wouldnt worry to much, the Rays will be around for while. i dont really see the phillies getting that deep again....the NL is going to be better next year, much better. especially the east.

still nothing made me laugh more than watching the ALDS ALCS AND WS and actually seeing the trop filled to full potential!
i dont think you guys have gotten a turnout like that since opening day in the 90's!
Everyone jumping on the bandwagon....

all cities have bandwagon jumpers. i don't know that its as much the bandwagon as much as it has been an issue of why should people spend money on a team that historically has never made an effort (from management down) to be any good. you wouldn't go see a crappy movie 3 times in a row just because the director lives in your area would you???? a lot of those people probly have been fans for a long time, but they never had a reason to come out. now they do, and its worth their money and time. there are always bandwagon jumpers - but teams that suk now and still get fans out have probably at least been good at one point and have some history behind them. the Rays had nothing, and had done nothing to change that. now that have, and people are showing their appreciation, ya know.
