You are right in a sad way in the absence of total nuclear disarmament, terrorists might acquire nuclear weapons. But a world where there are many nuclear-armed countries would be even more dangerous. its a game and very dangerous one its like to dogs squaring up who has the bigger balls lets hope one suddenly does not decide it has and takes a bit because the other might bite back.

cichlid - if you looked it up like i stated you would see that there is more than one type of "atomic clock" in the world....
the US always seems to be getting our nose into other countries buisness for no apparent reason and we focus so much on war and spend all this money on war not even thinking about problems inside the US that the money could be going towards i.e. poverty, schools, natrual disasters etc.

We are the only animals on this planet that advance and adapt quickly to or surrounding we have an uncanny way of surviving. I sit here reading the news and think with all this technology are we better off some times as Rallysman said “Technology advances” this means we can fined better ways of killing each other. That’s right $4 trillion gets a lot of love also gets a load of hate beating cancer would be a good one but then again that not as important is it. Cancer rates could further increase by 50% to 15 million new cases in the year 2020, according to the World Cancer Report. Looks like that could wipe us out before weapons I know loads of people with or have had(if it goes away !) and departed with cancer its just one crazy

We will constantly be playing catch up IMO. The things that you can do with todays medical tech. is amazing. Search for info about a 64 slice CT scanner. It is mind boggling. It still cant solve our problems, but it is simply amazing.

yea if you look at the past 2006 years it is simply amazing how much humans have advanced in technology such as cars,airplanes,traveling into space, cloning, etc. its just simply stunning..who knows what we will invent next.....
