I love how some of you are saying "I've seen bigger!"
Did you take the fish out and measure them? Fish look bigger when you're looking down on them in the water. I've seen fish that looked huge and when I actually caught them they weren't that big.
Also, most people overestimate the size of fish, even in their own tanks. People say things like "My oscar is 16 inches long!" and then take him out and he's like 8

I have seen a ton of Koi bigger than 4 feet that weigh more then 100 lbs. I would post pictures but my camera is broken and my ISP is blocking uploads of monster fish pictures and the batteries are dead and the memory card is full.
That is one big fish. Actually the biggest koi I have seen personally is like 31 inches and weighs around 30 lbs.
