No one comment on the effect releasing warmer water (9 degrees is a big difference) back into the ocean could have on the ocean? Where are the environmentalists..

Had to say that

Can't even imagine 115' deep pool..

It says it is warmed by the sun. It is warmer in the pool because the sun's energy is concentrated on a smaller volume of shallow water. Once it is released back the overall effect is the same as if without the pool. Equipment and such might also affect it but I would guess it is pretty minimal. Heat dissipates quite quickly too with a pool of that surface area, and their volume is nothing compared to a power plant or some kind of turbine.

I love it. Wish I could get there.
