I put new drift wood in my 55 now the water finally cleared up after battling clouded water now I noticed a bunch of white worms. I seen a few before then but nothing like now. What can I do to get rid of them?

I tried darius but their microscopic type worms hard to see even with the naked eye

I've been treating my jd for parasites that he got before I put in the driftwood

Probably some detritus worm which is harmless. It is free fish food if you got small fish. Vacuuming them up is the best way to reduce their numbers though. But they help break down waste in the substrate.

Yeah they wiggle around. I think they might be harmless like you guys said. I seen them before but not so many like now. I think it might have been from my filter cause when I did my water change my ac 70 overflowed and I pulled out the media all the bio waste went inside the tank.
