As I was feeding my Oscar in my pretty new 75 gallon tank I noticed tiny clear worms drifting in the water, including one crawling across my oscar's side. Does anyone know what these might be? Are they harmful? How do I get rid of them?

I believe that it is what it is. And I think they came because my Oscar is a very messy eater, when it eats tiny food scraps go everywhere. Do you think a bottom feeder to eat the small scraps on the bottom would be beneficial?

No matter how little I feed my Oscar there ends up being scraps on the bottom because he's so messy, so do you think it's a too much food problem, or more of a scraps on the bottom problem?

those worms are harmless so unless you cant stand the sight of them they are of little concern. Make sure your params are all in check and youll be fine.
