Hey guys, me again. Well lately Frank has had me a little worried. Since the picture I have posted below, Frank has been moved out of his previous ten gallon home with two other oscars into his own separate ten gallon with 2 cory cats and a gold gourami. (the other two oscars moved into my 30 with my growing albino longfin) I had to switch everyone around because ive been contributing alot to the electric bill lately and times are getting kinda tough so I just wanted to get rid of what i didn't actually need. But anyhow, back to to matter at hand. I woke up this morning and noticed how Frank has been kinda lethargic, i noticed it last night as well but dismissed it as him sulking from the tank move. But i also though that maybe the gourami has been stressing him out since he keeps swimming up and touching him with his pelvic fins (seriously whats up with that? lol) But since then he's showing some white area around his lateral line I'm not sure if maybe gourami's been picking on him when lights go out or if hes just really stressed. I thought maybe an infection but i didn't want to stress him out to much. He hasn't eaten much since the move. So yeah, he's one of my favorite fish so i think I might just be stressing. DO you think he's just being stressed out and sulky and he'll be better in a day or so? Wow, i type alot....To everyone that hasn't seen my previous thread this is Frank the Tank: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329512

Os don't like being moved from their established territory. They will sulk for a while after a move. Just keep tabs on water quality since they put out a bit more waste under stress.

Alright, I'll definetly keep an eye on it, i transfered over the same filter and everything from his previous tank too if that makes a difference at all, thanks for the quick response Oddball

Oddball is right on the money, O's hate being moved and get very "depressed" for a little while he'll be fine in a few days.

Day 2 of "Frank Watch" he's still not looking any better just hangs out in the same corner all day barely moving and not even eating the bloodworms even tho theyre his favorite :/ If this is him still sulking its killin me....

what are your water parameters and what does his poo look like? most Os iv seen sulking do it at the bottom of the tank not near the top so that is kind of weird to me and kind of raises a yellow flag...
