Worried about my little guy

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Problem again: I happened to just look into my filter again and wahlah there he was again!! Only thing tho is I have the extension and come thing on there. Do I take the filter off considering I also have a magnum 350 hooked up to it also.
Or just let him chill in the filter when he pleases because he got out himself

be very careful... I had an eel get its tail caught-up in a impelelr doing that and it took a good chunk offa her tail.... granted she recovered just fine but it def poses a risk imo.

Ya is really rather be safe than sorry. He/she is a family favorite and would hate for anything to happen. So It is a problem? Like I mentioned I have a magnum 350 canister so that would filter it just fine without the overheard. Thanks for the help bud I appreciate it

NP, just becareful it does try and get into the mag.. i've seen it happen before... no saveing them usually from those. Might try adding more hiding spots, pvc or driftwood i've found to be favorites. when you moved him did you move his hideing spots along? forgot the ask that.. if not you may try putting it in there. I found alot of spineys to be very weird about that... I had a TT that had a reptile rock type hidespot.. worked great when he was like 4-6"... but at 12" his tail was hanging out he was so oversized.. but he was bound and determined to stay there lol.
