Been a lot of years since I posted here. Now I am in design of a 500+/- gallon upgrade from my 240. Dimensions will be 96x36x36. To the point I built 2 stands for a 55 and a 86 out of plywood and both are solid as a rock. My 2x4 stand for the 240 is great but with all the vertical bracing there is no getting a dump underneath. I do think we under estimate the strength of our building supplies.

Nah, never worried about that. Just because I used thick enough walnut planks to make a nice DIY stand in a minimalist style.
