Sorry to hear that PP, he looked like a lovely little caiman. How long was the electricity off for?
And how did another caiman get killed by your brothers friend?

I am unsure how long the electricity was off... all I know is... it was on when I went to be and off when I woke up.......
my other caiman was inside my room in a 40 gal. long to go through the winter... he was doing good and all... well my brother had 2 of his friends over... they were curious on the caiman.... so I showed them.... the next day 1 of them came down to tell me that my camain was dead... I walked up and he was headdown in the water... I couldn't believe it.. well a couple of months later 1 of the kids says that the other one was in MY room and took off THE SNAPPED LID and started "probbing and stabbing" the caiman with a sharp piece of coathanger... he said he was probbing it on his head...stressing him out way to much.... and between the eyes... their only weakspot........

MAN Im sorry. I feel for you. That second story is would piss me off twice as much as it would make me sad.
I seriously dont know what they were thinking. I'd definetly give stabbing them between the eyes a go.
I was also wondering, do you know how they caiman broke it's leg and back? Was it just stressed out and tryed to get free and running around?

well the vet examined and said that the back right leg was somehow broken... I wondered that because it was extremely swollen... the back was fine... thats true... When I heard that the one of the kids killed it that really made me mad... but the thing is... that kid also stole some of my fossils (including a 300$ t-rex replica skull) and some video games.... but to kill my caiman topped it off.. but he got a away with it... I am still a little upset about to this day...........
