I bought a 80g Acrylic tank from my friend, spent all day tryna set it up, bought a bunch of plumbing stuff, right when I was about to buy an FX5, I went to my garage, the thing freaken leaked at the bottom, where the front and bottom panel meet,

my question is, can I reseal it? How can I reseal acrylic?

here's some pics!!

You should call oc acrylic or other local acrylic places local to los angeles..They will be able to repair it for you...

When you fix it, support the tank evenly to prevent it from bowing and separating at the seem or possibly cracking. Acrylic is not like glass tanks where you can just support it from each corner

Drain it, dry it, see if you can visually see any gaps or cracks. If its from the inside seam, you may be able to use another acrylic piece and weld-on 4 to seam it together.

Loli didnt.kno this, its my first acrylic tank, where can i buy weld on beside the intrrnet

You can buy weld-on from a good plumbing supply house, its not cheap, but you wont need much. Get some acrylic strips cut for the repair and make them the whole length of the tank so the repair wont be so noticeable.
Just my 2pennies.

Is that tank sitting ONLY on the blocks? If so, I'm sorry but you busted that tank. Acrylic needs to be fully supported evenly across the bottom surface.

Karma! :naughty:
