Yeah i am in the process of doing all that stuff. police report has been filed. this happened several days ago. Trust me I was in no condition to post the night it happened!

I know your mad right now, but it's important to start the search soon. After you file the police report, I would start calling local pawn shops and anywhere that they could sell the camera and stuff to. Also, search ebay and craigslist. They might be dumb enough to post it on there. Don't let them get away with this!

Yah, your totally right about that; crook's are pretty dumb people. Also, just to add in, if you have swap meets (flea markets) in your area, check them out and see if anyone is selling your camera.
