So I had a small incident when my Endlicheri attacked my Synodontis. The only damage was to the slime coat but it got me wondering what was worst injury one of your fish has sustained and fully recovered from.

Bichir jumped out of tank and onto carpet while I was getting ready for school last year. He was dried out, barely moving, his eyes were gray and he had carpet fuzz all over. Came back home that afternoon and he was mostly recovered and eating.
I have pbass that was entirely inside my oscars mouth. (I gambled thinking it was bigger than o’s mouth to early) the bass had 2 large lacerations one on each side of its body after escaping. Today it has a faint scar on each side now that it is 7-8” long.

After he slammed into a tank lid left ajar
Last May, very grateful his lower lip regenerated. Good water waters and a UV sterilizer go a long way in healing my fish's injuries.

Yes a ray barb. 18” male ray got tagged by a 22” female and it got stuck in him. I still have the barb that got him (had to remove it). Was a few years ago
