Worst lfs ?

Most of the bad advice I've heard was from chain stores, most of the smaller shops down here tend to know what they're doing because if they don't, they make no money.

Also, guys, I think he means tea as in 'evening meal' not a cup of tea with baked beans... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't read that and get "baked beans and a cup of tea", I read it and got "baked beans for tea" hahaha

What about African know how?

I don't have too many bad stories, but one guy at a more corporate pet shop (even had boas n stuff) told me a Jardini would be good for life in a 70 gallon :eek:
As well as bala sharks, cigar sharks and a little 6" silver aro that "would stay that size". Ugh

The worst i have heard at my really good LFS is this young oke that started recently at the time and tried to get me to buy 3 oscars for my 70... i politely declined

Worst advice ever from LFS was that it was ok to keep an Oscar with my tigerbarbs in my 15 gallon tank. I started laughing at him because at that moment I realised I knew more about fish than the owner does.
