I must admit clockwork orange was so far out there I just never got nowhere near the end, I turned it off. I just refused to put myself through anymore torture. But for some strange reason it has a huge cult following and is now one of those movies that you have to see just to find out what all the fuss is about. But even so, i'll never ever revisit it to find out what the remainder of the film was like.
Some films are that bad you turn them off pretty quick, you just get a feel for where the films going. Other films though, even though you are struggling to grasp what's happening, actually get a grip on you because you just have to find out how the stupid plot unravels and see just how more daft it can get. Two very recent films that did just that for me were "mother" and "the killing of a sacred deer". Both wacko films that just left me scratching my head throughout but yet I persevered to the bitter end.
