He should be feeding invertebrates to his puffer, but this video isn't that bad. At least the mouse was properly sized to be eaten quickly. I don't agree with it, but I've seen much worse.

can I get a double-l0lz. I would expect this on youtube, but not MFK. Is it sad the number of people that don't realize their is a difference between a fishes digestive tract processing piscine protein and mammal protein?


The point is that these fish haven't been climatized to aquarium life through x generations of selective breeding just for aquarium use. Therefore, no mousey in natural diet=not adequately equipped to eat it.

Feeding: Human entertainment vs. Nutritional Diet

There is a big difference here. Mammalian protein is okay to feed once in awhile but not as a staple diet considering it is very hard to digest and is responsible for digestion problems and internal parasites for the most part.
