Worth a change?

So what your saying brunner is qt and treat some decent sized gold fish for the juvies to munch on scales. And try and get em on somethin else. Wondering if one culd buy market fish fillets with the skin and scales on and feed them the scales and skin.

Lmao sorry bud I have BIG hands. Anyhow I think that's old info. Search info on em. I've seen several pics where they're 5",6",7". & I said the size of your hand not mine.lol. Idk if the fillet with scales would work. They ram the meal fish & pluck a scale or two out. So they may or may not go for the easy meal(fillet with scales) & I'd think the living scale would be better for them anyhow. That's how I'd try it. Feeder fish with added attempts at all other foods. Surely they like some other foods its just a matter of finding what it is so they aren't de-scaling themselves.

I can't find the pic now. I know it was a strong 6". But a 6" wimple might be like a 1' rbp. Its the extreme of the scale. Where average is smaller. & tons of factors play here also. Diet n how often fed, tank size, water quility, genetics, age ect. But imo 3"-4" is small side of scale. Hell exodons get that big.

Go for it if you're bored with it. you should have something you enjoy.

Absolutely. I have a baby rhom in my 50 gal but he's not enough to keep me interested though I would never want to lose him. I'm doing the planted tank as well to keep me occupied but I also have a 29 biocube HQI reef tank. It's the most fun I've had in a while. Love it.

So I did what I think most of you would do. I decided to keep the ruby red and set a new tank for the wimple. I bought the last four wimples at aquascape yesterday. Today they look great and are eating freeze dried black worms and flake food.

best i can do

Also i have seen some people try their piranhas with exodons. I am kind of tempted to try this when they get bigger. Does anyone think I may have issues with the exodons attacking the wimples? Thanks
