What else do have in you're fish tank? If your tank is empty yes, if there's other aggressive fish in there maybe not. They reason being the size of the fish and also JD"S are very aggressive.

I personally wouldn't pay that much for a JD BUT its all about personal preference on fish. If you like it go for it.

I'd say yeah, if you want a JD. That's basically a token amount for a big fish.

I made a thread called "getting ready" you can see the pics of the tank there. I just replaced the front glass.

If you have harmony in the 120 gallon I would pass on the JD because adding it may cause problems. Also if you had to take JD back the store will not give back what you payed for it.
