i have a 150G, currently i have a baysnook(yellow) and an albino red oscar. im also growing out a carpinte the blue/greeny coloured one. what else should i add to it, it will have the carpinte, baysnook and Albino Red Oscar.

my question is what do you guys think i should add the tank is 5x2x2.

so i have a different kind of varient of colours in the tank, Yellow, orange, and blue/green.

what fish should i add to make some nice colours in there which would look good with the other stock at the moment??????

thanks

sam

gold saum maybe?

Check out this site here www.tangledupincichlids.com that is jeff rapps site he has some nice fish in his stock right now. I'd go for a Red Tiger Jag, parachromis motaguense. Give the tank a nice red color, and a Gold Saum would be nice too.

That's red tiger mota (motaguense). Jags are managuense. I'd do a gt or jd. Something that doesn't get too large or aggressive, but still has attraction.

yes it would and there very bright and awesome looking fish. they grow slow and max size is 12 inchers but ive never seen one that big in captivity. i think your looking more around 8. make sure you get a female cause males get much bigger

pdbrady you dont think a red tiger mota would work??? I think that and a Gold Saum would do fine. At least I had the motaguense part right.

:) No, I think it would be fine. I didn't type everything I was thinking, which was to agree with the mota, and then adding the ones I did. I also think a female festae would be nice too.

i think ill go with female festae for now. the tank will be fully stocked then wont it?? with the female festae, male carpinte, male baysnook and albino red oscar.
