Would a Bichir eel get along with my Tiger Oscar

A 75 is perfect for a Oscar. I think if you went with a 75 you could do him and 2-3 Bichirs if you have enough filtration and do enough water changes.

Just please don't get any bichirs under around 6 or 7 inches, they would probably become snacks to the Oscar. Could grow them our in the 55 with the Oscar in the 75

So I picked up a 75 just need to fill it and cycle it. I'm keeping my 55 up and using it as a grow tank.

Just be aware you'll need to overfeed for the polypterus to get fed since Oscars are pretty aggressive eaters compared to polypterus.

Yeah I've read a few different post about the Oscars eating everything before the smaller less aggressive fish get a chance. For right now I'm going to move the Oscar and pleco to the 75 gallon and keep the smaller ones if the 55 till they get bigger and can fend for themselves.
