Would a snapping turtle grow in a 25 Gallon?

Yeah, as said, a 6" turtle has outgrown a 25G already. A 40 would work for him right now but not for long, I would look at getting his permanent tank now. Something with a 8'x30" footprint, minimum.

ok thanks guys, so i guess its stirght to the 800gallon(pond) he will be the only one in there. I have someother questions, when i put him in will he hide alot to the point i wont see him anymore? 2nd am going to "hand feed him" silver sides for the first meal is this ok for baby snappers? & b4 you say my fingers will get bitin off am going to hold in his face and when he see's it ill let go so he can eat it
